Today saw the inaugural meeting of The Six Figure Mentors; Midlands, UK at The Belfrey Golf Club.

In attendance were some of the region’s elite internet marketers – myself Ed Hodgson with Gary Mogford, Sam Baz, Steve Walker, Paul Chatwin, Ian Howard, Tim Powell, Greg Walsh and Mark Stephens. If you haven’t heard of these guys yet, you will do soon.

As independent internet marketers and leaders in our fields of expertise, coming together as a Mastermind group has enabled us to share ideas and strategies to help both each other, and to pass on our combined knowledge to our own individual teams who we train ourselves to become successful internet marketers.

Developing An Entrepreneurial Mindset

When you make the decision to start your own business, either online or offline, you have to appreciate that you have to develop an entrepreneurial mindset in order to succeed. Some people have this already and have never worked for anyone in their life. They have always worked for themselves or run their own businesses. For other people who want to change their circumstances in life, by working for themselves, developing an entrepreneurial mindset will be something they need to work on.

Hard work and determination are two factors that, without which, success will be impossible to achieve. However, these on their own, are not enough. Having the right mindset to succeed is just as important. You have to have a deep rooted belief in what you are doing, as well as belief in yourself, that you have the ability to move forward and achieve your goals.

This is often the biggest hurdle to get over. It is often ourselves that are our greatest enemy and place the biggest obstacles in our own way. The way to get round these is to stop sabotaging your own efforts and remove any negative beliefs you have about yourself and your ability to achieve your goals.

Every single human being has such incredible potential. We have incredible powers of resourcefulness that come to the surface at times of great stress. In other words, when we absolutely have to do something, we find a way. The trick is to train yourself to be able to find this inner resourcefulness at will. An entrepreneurial mindset that refuses to accept failure and that will find a way to accomplish whatever goal we put in front of ourselves, is perfectly possible for anyone to train themselves to develop.

Many successful business people have been able to make huge achievements, even when they have become entrepreneurial later on in life. They may have spent many years as an employee working for someone else, trading their time for money and lining someone else pockets.

So do you have an employee mindset, being content with being led through life by someone else, doing as you are told and following someone else’s instructions for the whole of your working life? Or are you discovering something about yourself? That you do actually have an entrepreneurial mindset, deciding on your own goals, your own way of generating an income and having the belief that you will succeed, no matter what anyone else tries to tell you, or otherwise convince you of?

Building A Six Figure Income Online In Six Months

How on Earth could anyone build a six figure income online (that’s 100,000 minimum) in six months? It might seem to you like an unrealistic goal to achieve.

If you are only thinking in terms of earning that sort of money in a traditional job, trading your time for money, then I understand why you are struggling to see how this is possible. However, there are alternative income possibilities available in the information age that we now live in. It is possible for anyone to achieve this in 4 steps.

1.   The first thing you need to do is find the vehicle that will help you realise your potential in being able to generate a six figure income. I am going to use the example of internet marketing as it is the industry that I am personally involved in and therefore know that this is a realistic goal to achieve. You don’t want to market something of low value. Investing in an opportunity that can be marketed for a higher value will make your task a lot easier.

2.   Secondly, you need to seek out other people who are both already involved in the industry and successful at it at the same time. As a general point, by surrounding yourself with successful individuals, you will yourself become more successful. This is a proven fact. By feeding your mind with ambition, you will become increasingly more successful and you do this by associating yourself with other people who have already achieved what you are searching for.

3.   Thirdly, copy the things that successful people do in order to become successful yourself. Duplication is the key word here. When you want to achieve something in the shortest amount of time possible, you find out how someone else did it and then do exactly what they did. Find someone to work with and learn from to achieve your goals.

4.   Finally, you need to implement everything that you learn from that successful individual. No-one is going to do the work that is required for you. In any industry or entrepreneurial venture, work is required to achieve success. This final stage is where most people fall down. For some reason they struggle to actually take action themselves and put into practice the things that they have learned.

By following these 4 steps, you will be able to achieve a six figure income online within six months. The internet marketing industry can give you an alternative income that, with dedication and hard work, can be used to achieve what might at first have seemed impossible to do.
